This website provides information about the Your Energy Ltd (YEL) proposals for a 6 turbine wind farm at Wellow near Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight.
Based upon the Vestas V82 wind turbine, each rated at 1.65 megawatts and having their 41m long blades produced at the Vestas factory in Newport, the wind farm will have an installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts.

The NTS also provides a summary of the studies and investigations undertaken over the past 5 years to assess and quantify the benefits and impact of the wind farm on the local and general environment.
